Volunteers are matched one-to-one with youth who live in Troy and need a mentor. Each volunteer is asked to spend 2-4 hours a week with the child. Support is available from a professional caseworker.
Provides opportunities for skill-building activities to students of elementary age through high school who may need financial assistance.
Provides camp experiences to children who may not otherwise have the opportunity.
Identifies areas where young people can make a positive contribution to their peer group and community by participating in TYA-sponsored events and by mentoring elementary-age children at TYA-sponsored activities..
